Offenhäuser care center

In 1286, the former Dominican convent in Offenhausen was granted bailiwick rights over a farm and vineyard in Metzingen.
Today’s building was built in 1579 with wine cellar, fountain and secret passage. The first floor initially consisted of an open hall.
Today it is a house of encounter. Senior citizens meet there regularly to spend a sociable, entertaining afternoon with coffee and cake.
